DESCRIPTION:Register for Open Education Talks 2026!\n\nThis week's theme 
 is: Utilizing GenAI and Technology in Supporting OE and OER\n\n\nWe are 
 excited to announce the 5th annual offering of The Open Education Talks\, a 
 series of 15-minute lightning talks and digital posters about facets of 
 open education\, including open pedagogy and learning\, utilizing open 
 educational resources\, and integrating open strategies in higher 
 education. These Talks aim to create an accessible\, virtual space for 
 conversations about open education.\n\n“…open education is not limited 
 to just open educational resources. It also draws upon open technologies 
 that facilitate collaborative\, flexible learning and the open sharing of 
 teaching practices that empower educators to benefit from the best ideas of 
 their colleagues.'' - UNESCO Cape Town Declaration\n\n\nSchedule and 
 Topics:\n\nEvery Wednesday in March 2025 from 12:00 pm - 1:30pm MT\, 
 presentations will focus on the following broad topics:\n\n\n	\n	Building 
 Blocks of Open Education: Basics of open education (OE) and OER 
 adoption\n	\n	\n	Emerging Technologies and Usability in Open Education: 
 Technology’s role in OE and connections with usability \n	\n	\n	Students 
 as Partners and Leaders in Open Education: Student-led projects and 
 collaboration in OE\n	\n	\n	Tensions and Possibilities for the Future of 
 Open Education: Responsive practices navigating changing challenges and 
 opportunities in OE.\n	\n\n\nA digital poster wall will be available on the 
 Open Education Talks website throughout and following the talks.\n\nFor
