DESCRIPTION:The workshop will cover what is needed to plan your systematic 
 review (or other evidence synthesis review) and create a review protocol 
 that can be used to guide you through the review process. 
 \n\nPresenters:\n\nUniversity of Calgary librarian Dr Alix 
 Hayden\n\nUniversity of Victoria librarian Dr Zahra Premji\n\n \n\nTopics 
 to be covered in this session:\n\n\n	Defining your question\n	Creating your 
 protocol\n	Picking databases\n	Developing inclusion/exclusion 
 criteria\n	Pre-scan of the literature and identifying seed 
 papers\n	Analyzing seed papers\n	Keywords and subject headings\n\n\nThis 
 workshop is the first workshop of a three-part series of workshops on 
 systematic reviews/knowledge synthesis. You are not required to take all 
 three workshops in the series\; however the information in the workshop 
 series is scaffolded\, so each workshop builds on knowledge learned in the 
 previous workshop.\n\nWorkshop 2: Developing your data collection strategy.

 steps: Translating\, tracking\, reporting and study selection. October 28\,
