SUMMARY:[ONLINE] Addressing Research Challenges with Sage Research Methods
DESCRIPTION:Research presents challenges\, both to those engaged in
research as well as to those teaching\, advising\, or instructing others on
the research process. This session will provide an overview of Sage
Research Methods\, a resource that provides research support by guiding
users through every step of the research process. As the ultimate methods
library\, Sage Research Methods is designed to help learn\, teach\, and
explore methods across the social sciences and STM disciplines. We will pay
particular attention to the Research Tools in the platform: the Methods
Map\, Project Planner\, Which Stats Test\, and Reading Lists – and will
explore how the tools\, content\, and platform features can help users
address and overcome research challenges. \n\n As a result of this
session\, participants will be able to:\n\n\n	Search and browse for
information across content types and disciplines.\n	Access the Methods Map
to identify how research methods and terms are related as well as to
connect to relevant content in the platform.\n	Use the Project Planner for
step-by-step guidance through the research process.\n	Take the Which Stats
Test to determine the best statistical method for their data.\n	Create a
Sage Research Methods profile and use its features\, including Reading
Lists\, to organize and curate content for research and teaching.\n\n\n
