SUMMARY:Exploring Non-Traditional Theses Supports and Resources
DESCRIPTION:Thinking of creating a thesis that goes beyond the written 
 document? This session introduces participants to the supports available 
 for developing non-traditional theses at the University of Calgary. We’ll 
 outline types of non-traditional thesis - such as creative\, digital\, 
 applied\, or entrepreneurial projects - and pathways to plan\, propose\, 
 and complete one successfully. Participants will learn about campus 
 resources\, examples of previous projects\, and things to consider along 
 the non-traditional thesis lifecycle.\n\nLearning Objectives:\n\nBy the end 
 of this session\, participants will be able to:\n\n\n	Describe what 
 constitutes a non-traditional thesis and identify common formats (creative 
 works\, digital artefacts\, applied or community-based 
 projects).\n	Understand the thesis lifecycle and consideration for 
 non-traditional work at each stage of planning\, creating\, analyzing\, 
 assessing\, archiving and sharing.\n	Identify key supports available 
 through University resources and beyond.\n	Locate examples and guidance in 
 the Non-Traditional Theses Guide and how to get more help.\n
