Understanding the Publishing Process: Behind the Scenes with IEEE Online

Description: In this session, IEEE Client Services Manager Tom Jevec shares key insights into the publishing journey with IEEE. Learn how successful authors craft high-quality submissions to improve their chances of acceptance.

Outcomes: Participants will gain a clearer understanding of the peer review process and what editors and reviewers look for. They’ll also discover best practices for getting papers accepted and explore IEEE’s author tools and resources.

 

In this customized author workshop, you will learn how to get published with the IEEE to increase your research's visibility and credibility. We will share tips on organizing and structuring a high-quality paper, selecting an appropriate IEEE periodical or conference, getting assistance from the IEEE Author Center, and submitting your manuscript. This workshop will help you navigate IEEE’s peer review and submission processes and discuss the top reasons papers get rejected.
