[ONLINE] Data Visualization Basics Online
This workshop provides an introduction to data visualization. The session will focus on creating visualizations and charts by looking at the basics of transforming data into imagery. We will look at how to effectively link different data types (categorical, numeric) to different visual elements (colour, size, shape). The session will also provide an overview of a variety of data visualization tools and software freely available to university students and staff.
No prerequisites are necessary.
