[ONLINE] Managing Your Online Research Identity Online
This workshop will introduce you to the basics of managing your online researcher identity. Learn why it's important to set up unique author profiles in services like ORCID, Scopus and Google Scholar. We'll also delve into the meaning and limitations of common research metrics like the Journal Impact Factor and the h-index, and look at alternative metrics. If you're a graduate student or early-career researcher, we'll talk about how you can start building your unique profile in a way that allows you to showcase your research and its impact.
