Sage Research Methods Diversifying & Decolonizing Research: Supporting Indigenous Research & Scholarship Online

Join a representative from Sage Publishing to learn more about Sage Research Methods: Diversifying & Decolonizing Research, an interdisciplinary multimedia collection that aims to inspire researchers to use inclusive and critically aware research methods.

This collection, available to the entire University of Calgary academic community, highlights decolonial perspectives that challenge traditional research paradigms and showcases a diverse range of experiences and approaches from Indigenous researchers using non-western methodologies through case studies, videos, datasets, and how-to guides.

This session will also provide highlights of content across other available collections, including video content from the Social Justice Video collection and business cases from the Indigenous Business Stories Project.

As a result of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Explain the purpose and scope of content in Sage Research Methods: Diversifying & Decolonizing Research

  • Search and browse for information across content types and methods

  • Access and use the Methods Maps to identify decolonial and indigenous methods

  • Use platform tools and features, including the optional profile, to save, share, and download content

Please contact Emily Smith, Senior Engagement Librarian, at emily.smith@sagepub.com with any questions prior to the session. We look forward to seeing you there!
