Did you know that the library provides online access to a wide array of digitized primary sources?  During this interactive workshop we will delve into the world of primary sources, gaining insights into their significance and relevance in scholarly research. We will explore various archives, enabling participants to navigate and locate relevant materials efficiently.

You will gain understanding of techniques that can be used to conceptualize research topics and generate insights from primary sources. We will explore methods for extracting key information, identifying patterns, and uncovering hidden connections within large collections of primary source texts.

45 minutes - Explore the Gale Primary Sources archives and tools available through the University of Calgary Library

15 minutes - General questions or specific questions regarding primary sources and your research.
