We’ll also explore what makes a strong peer reviewer, equipping you with the skills to provide constructive, meaningful critiques. A deeper insight to the ethics of peer reviewing will also be explored to better understand the importance and duty of peer reviewers. Whether you’re interested in how peer review works or looking to refine your review techniques, this session will offer valuable insights into navigating the peer review landscape with confidence.

By the end of this session, learners will:

  • Understand the role of peer review in scholarship​

  • Understand how to produce a constructively critical peer review​

  • Learn when and why to say yes to becoming a peer reviewer

  • Learn the signs of peer review manipulation
