Using Transkribus to Transcribe Handwritten Research Materials [ONLINE] Online

Learn how to utilize Transkribus, an online Handwritten Text Recognition (HTR) tool, for transcribing both handwritten and printed materials encountered during your research.

The session will include:

  • overview on navigating Transkribus and
  • leveraging your own transcribed content to train the HTR model.

Participants! You can use your own research files (in jpeg, png, or pdf format) that you want to transcribe. Please ensure that these files contain research material only and are not copyrighted.

Sample research materials will be available for those who require them.
