[ONLINE] Introduction to Research Data Management Online
Research data management, or RDM, is increasingly recognized as an important part of the research enterprise in all disciplines. With the introduction of the Tri-Agency Research Data Management Policy, and the broad recognition of principles such as FAIR, CARE, and OCAP, it’s crucial for anyone conducting research to understand and adopt good RDM practices. This workshop will give you an overview of the essentials of RDM, with a particular focus on data management plans (DMPs) and the DMP Assistant tool.
For those who would like to know more about some specific areas of RDM, please consider attending the Digital File Management workshop on January 3 and/or the Introduction to Personal Digital Archiving workshop on January 4.
