Introduction to GIS and ArcGIS Platform Online

Spatial data can provide important or critical understandings for research across a wide variety of disciplines. This session will provide a brief overview of Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and its applications and uses. It will focus primarily on ArcGIS software, which is free to University of Calgary researchers.
