Undergraduate Education: Best Bet! K-12 materials through the Online Reference Centre Online

When you teach you want your students to interact with quality resources for their learning. Where do you find text, images, and videos that are credible, reliable, and accurate for ALL grade levels?

Join our guest Lorisia MacLeod as she takes you on a tour of Learn Alberta's Online Reference Centre (ORC).

  • what is the ORC, who can use it, and how to access it
  • what information and databases are included
  • how to find online resources for specific grades and subjects
  • how to link to ORC online resources in your lessons

This will be an online presentation on Zoom with an opportunity for question and answer. The session will be recorded.

Intended Audience: UCalgary students enrolled in 400 and 500 level EDUC courses
Guest Presenter: Lorisia MacLeod, Online Reference Centre Coordinator
