Manage Your Research Identity and Track Your Impact: Metrics and Altmetrics

Methods to capture the impact of research have expanded in recent years, and range from more traditional metrics such as the h-index to altmetrics, which capture social media engagement with research. This workshop will provide an introduction to the theory behind metrics, as well as practical strategies for tracking them for your own work.

You will walk away with the tools you need to track your own research impact, and understand how to contextualize and interpret these metrics.
