Makerspace safety orientation
This short orientation is required for anyone wanting to access the Makerspace. It will provide a general introduction to the space, and an introduction to potential hazards and safe use of the space. It does not cover in-depth training on any particular piece of equipment, although participants are welcome to stay afterwards to get more specific information from staff.
After the orientation, registrants will be granted access to an online quiz. Upon successful completion of the quiz, attendees will be given UNICARD access to use the Makerspace during open hours. Card access processing may take up to a week; in the meantime, staff will mediate access.
Please note that if you would like to arrange a custom orientation at a different time, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to inquire.
