Learn the Library with Your Squad: Session A - Can I Use This? In-Person
Are you writing a paper this semester? Then this session is for you. Session A introduces participants to the ideas of resource authority and the process of information creation. In this 30 minute introductory session, participants will learn what type of resources are best sourced for their information needs, understand how to use library resources to obtain credible sources for their coursework, determine what makes an authoritative source, and be better able to assess the fit between their particular information need and a resource's creation process. Session A is the first of a four-part library series, but is not a pre-requisite for subsequent sessions.
