Deciding where to publish @HSL In-Person

There’s a lot to consider when deciding how to share your scholarly work: you want to ensure a good fit, a broad readership, significant impact, and perhaps compliance with institutional or funder mandates.  This session will cover issues such as Open Access publishing, predatory publishers, author rights, and ways to promote your work.  It will incorporate hands-on exercises to help you evaluate fit, impact, and reputability of journals and publishers.  If you have a manuscript in progress, please bring it along as a case study.
